In terms of treating this patient, in order to ensure that her prolactin levels a very good emperical formula for the base of treatment is ER XIAN TANG (with modifications according to the patient's Pattern presentation). I have successfully used this formula with patients on Bromocriptin and/or as a stand alone treatment to successfull reduce prolactin levels as it helps stimulate and regulate hypofunction of the anterior horn of the pituitary leading to elevated prolactin levels. It can safely be taken during her attempts to conceive and is actually an'indication' for use of this formula. Hope this helps...as ther is always a Plan B, c, etc.
