I would like to make a quick correction to this podcast. Marilyn Allen mentioned the work of Acupuncture Without Borders. The organization that went to Katrina was AcupuncturISTS without borders, not AcupunTURE without Borders.
Acupuncture Without Borders is an international organization also known as Acupuncture Sans Frontiers (in french) and works internationally to teach acupuncture. They have a long history teaching in many countries. The US organization, AcupuncturISTS without Borders, is a newer US based and operates in the US using NADA.
These are not the same organization, and do not provide the same services.
