BL 1 (jingming)

brightens eyes, Tonify Yin

Location: 1 fen medial & superior to the inner canthus of the eye, near the medial border of the orbit.

BL 2 (zanzhu)

hiccup, headache, brighten eyes

Location: superior to the inner canthus, in a depression on the eyebrow, close to its medial end.

BL 7 (tongtian)

frees the nose (sinusitis)

Location: 1.5 cun lateral to the midline, 4 cun from the anterior hairline.

BL 9 (yuzhen)

headache (local pain)

Location: 1.3 cun lateral to the depression superior to the external occipital protuberance (DU 17).

BL 10 (tianzhu)

head/neck/shoulder/back pain, eye problems, sooth sinews

Location: on the lateral aspect of the trapezius muscle, 1.3 cun lateral to DU 15.

BL 11 (dazhu)

dispel Wind, expel exterior Heat, regulates bones/joints

Location: 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T1.

BL 12 (fengmen)
